The Fredrika Sofia Church and Belfry
The Fredrika Sofia church, a roadside church in Ikaalinen, was inaugurated as early as 1801, with its belfry finished in 1861. The church has approximately 1 100 seats. This wooden cruciform church is a very impressive sight.
During the summer of 2026, market day concerts will be held at the church on Wednesdays from May 27 to August 12 at 12:00 noon.

Ikaalinen Church will celebrate its 225th anniversary in August 2026.
The opening of the anniversary exhibition will take place on Sunday, May 24, starting at 11:30 a.m.

The exhibition will be open at the Parish Centre on May 24–June 5 and July 1–July 31, Monday–Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
